Keep the Dredge Moving
Have a difficult dredging application? Let our engineers review the material, production target, discharge distance, head and deployment method—and help determine the right pump and system configuration.
Built for abrasive sediment, high solids, debris and demanding marine dredging applications.
The Pump Has to Match the Material
Marine dredging rarely gives a pump clean, consistent conditions. Sand, silt, clay, organics, shells, debris, changing solids concentration, suction conditions, discharge distance, and elevation all affect performance. EDDY Pump applications are engineered around those realities — not around a clean-water assumption.

OPERATIONS
Keep Production Moving
Review the material, production target and discharge conditions so the pumping system supports—not limits—the dredging cycle.

FLEET + MAINTENANCE
Reduce Pump-Related Downtime
Evaluate wear, clogging, service access and lifecycle requirements for abrasive, solids-heavy applications.

ENGINEERING
Prove the Application Fit
Work through slurry data, particle size, flow, TDH, pipeline, available power and deployment configuration.
MARE ISLAND DRY DOCK | BARGE OFFLOADING
One Pump. About 100,000 Cubic Yards Offloaded.
When Mare Island Dry Dock’s disposal requirements changed from mechanical clamshell offloading to hydraulic offloading, the team deployed a cable-suspended EDDY Pump with a water-jetting agitator. The system moved dredged material roughly 650 feet through 10-inch HDPE into the disposal pond. Mare Island later reported offloading about 100,000 cubic yards with the same pump and very little day-to-day maintenance trouble.

A Different Pump Geometry for Difficult Slurry
EDDY Pump uses patented open-rotor technology that creates a synchronized eddy current inside the pump. The rotor is recessed away from the suction path, leaving wide clearances for solids and abrasive material. For dredging teams, that design is intended to reduce sensitivity to clogging and close-tolerance wear while moving dense, abrasive slurry.

ENGINEERING PROOF | ENVIRONMENTAL DREDGING
High-Solids Production With Measured Water-Quality Performance
At Cresta Reservoir, approximately 7,833 cubic meters of sandy sediment were dredged during a monitored demonstration. Slurry densities above 70% solids by volume were sustained, production exceeded 230 cubic meters per hour, and the maximum turbidity increase in the discharge plume was 12 NTU above ambient — while the project remained within restrictive water-quality requirements.

Bring Us the Dredging Application
A useful pump recommendation starts with the job, not the catalog.
Send us what you know about the material, desired production, discharge distance, elevation, available power, and deployment method.
Our team will help review the application and identify the right EDDY Pump configuration and system requirements.
Have limited data?
Send what you have. An application engineer can help identify what is still needed.
